I want to win state in Track and Field and XC.

Hit 5 mins in the mile. 

 Become varsity my first year running XC.

 

Personal:

i like to run alot but whenever i get to the starting line i always get nervous but it helps me run. i am a sprinter but i like XC so i joined freshman year i personaly like sprinting better then long distance becuz in sprinting u dont really have to think about it its all about form and speed and you go all out you do the same in distance but its more of a thinking process like how fast should i run when should i push i dont like that. i juss wanna go all out and see wat i could do for a short distance. i think that i am a better sprinter then a distance runner.

Today was a great day we ran the cemetary loop it was fun but also hard, when i first did the cemetary loop it was really hard but the second time it felt great.

Today i didnt fell so well i have been having problems with my left leg, when i start to run my ankle starts to hurt and on top of all of that my left hip hurts alot, i wanna take a day off but i also wanna stay consistant, but the runs we have been doin r getting easier. but it is also getting more difficult im on another track team and some times after XC workout im exhausted and about an hour later i have a track meet its really difficult now im always sore and it juss seems that i dont get a break, ill figure somthing out.

Today was fun we ran on a trail across the street from the zoo which was about 4 miles then after that we went on our own up the trail for about another mile.

Today was even worst for me i was gonna run with the more experienced runners but trying to keep up with them was hard and my hip has been hurting for about a week now.

today i juss ran for 20 mins but my hip and ankle have given me some serious pain it might feel good for a while until i get deeper into the workout and its been getting worst, today i was at usatf track meet and did horribly on my events in my 100m when i was at the blocks and when i started my leg juss collapsed, i stumbled a lil and had a big gap between me and the competitors and worked hard to catch up but it juss got worst my hip juss started to hurt after that i dont know if i shud stop or not........... in all three of my events i did a lil bit better but that whole day for me was horrible and dont ever want a day like that.......

today i didnt run because my hip was hurting so bad i stretch it out and still after that it doesnt feel right, it feels like its getting worst i might juss take it easy the whole week cuz i dont want to have a serious problem with my hip when i go to idaho to run on saterday............

today was hard i could barley do it.... i had a really bad cramp and so i slowed down then i tried to catch up but it was hard and some pple went to 8 miles but i did 6 miles. today my hip was hurting but i set it aside it hasnt been feeling better but today felt good...

today was fun, we did a scavenger hunt it felt like we did more then 4 miles but i guess not, at the beginning i was afraid of my right side cramping up but after a few mins it felt good i liked todays workout hope we do somthing like that again.

today we ran 5 miles. first we did a lap cool down then we did 2 sets of 800s and then we did half a mile lap.  my time on my first 800 was    2:48 and on my second one i did better my time was    2:45 not by much but as long as it was better.

today my hip was hurting pretty bad so i took it easy today. first i went with the group but then droped down and was by myself and i went about 2 and a half miles out then came bak which was about 5 and i was bak pretty early so i ran up the hill and went into the picnic area went around there then came out and went up the hill a little bit more then came down and finished most pple were here now.........

today felt like a really good day so i was feeling pretty good we went for a warm up lap around liberty park and then did fire men that was so hard becuz i was with the fast group we were going so fast i thought i was gonna juss quit half way but surprisingly i made it, my hip was fine till then but once we started our cool down my hip started to hurt alot i dont know why, but now even a few hours after practice my hip still hurts when i take a step or when i move my leg its a stinging pain.

today was my first 10k!!!!! i thought i did well i felt good but idk if my time was good or not but i thought i did good, today i was sooooooooo nervous!!!!!!! i didnt think i was gonna be able to finish the race but then it was over and i was like "YES"!!!!!!!.

now its been hours since the race and my hip still hurts alot........

today i think it was 4 but im not sure....., today i was really pushing i wanted to keep up with tommy and thats exactly what happen till the end were i started to slow down but today was another fun day...... maybe half way through the XC, i was tired my muscles were all worn out and i didnt think that i could go anymore but i juss tryed to get out of bed in the morning and go to practice and it has really paid off i was like 90% sure that i was gonna quit but i gave it another week and it has been really fun so now i might not quit.....

today was one of the best days ever so i was using bills flats and dakota told me that they were lucky so i didnt believe that till the end of the race this is one of the best races. i got a PR today but im sure i cud have pushed harder. man im kinda mad becuz i almost beat kevin if i had at least 5 more meters i wud have beat him his time was 00:21:32 and mine was 00:21:33 but i did good next time we race against each other im gonna win forsure im determined to beat gio and kevin in a race and i know i cud do it if i pushed hard enough. this week i have been trying to push my self really hard and thats exactly what happen i came into this race and thought to my self im gonna try to keep up with kevin and thats exactly what happen in the past week either ive improved or i havnt been pushing myself hard enough.... im soooooooo happy!!!!!!!

today was really hard im gonna try my best this week to improve. today i started out great but then i started to get tired and i was really dizzy so i cudnt push alot but the last one was the worst bill told me to catch gio but i tried alot but my chest was hearting alot and thats not the excuse i juss didnt have the right mineset today tomorrow i will try to do better.  i want to be able to make varsity this year so this week im gonna push really hard i want to make varsity my first year of running that would be the best year ever......

i dont know how much miles i hit today but im guessing around 8 today was a really bad day im not sure what to do anymore i might have to quit cross country so idk anymore i will try my best to stay in this but im not sure yet...... but for right now cross country is over for me........ im tryin my best to stay with cross country but if i dont go tomorrow then i will keep tryin .....

now ive decided im going tomorrow no matter what ive worked to hard to quit now and i wanna be able to become varsity my first year ever of running so no matter what im going tomorrow ive worked to hard to turn back now...... even tho tomorrow is a a hike its still could help a lil i guess lol but whatever im not quitin no matter what.......

today i was hoping that i was gonna have a good day but thats not what happened , i was feeling great the first part of the warmup but then i got harder and harder for me to breath and i think cuz it was really humid cuz today it was hard for me to breath and my chest was hurting it felt like i wasnt getting any air but yea i tried to push through that but my chest was hurting alot. lets hope that tomorrow is a good day for me.

Today i woke up around 9 so i decided to go for a small run becuz it was kinda hot so i went around jordan park for about 1.5 miles then turned around and did what i did before to hit 3 today was an alright run feeling kinda sore tho........

i think it was around 3 i didnt do the 800's becuz my knee was hurting really bad so i didnt run it i didnt want to make it worst.... im icing it. hopeing it will get better tomorrow...........

i juss ran a lil today becuz i was sore. i want to start pushing as hard as i can can go on the workouts now becuz i didnt think that i did well yesterday and i want to improve and be as good as i can be and i gotta start working very hard on the workouts. 19:17 was my second fastest time but i slowed down by 16 seconds and i want to PR the next race and im very dissapointed in myself but we will have alot more races and i plan on doing my very best on each one.

Dude you did PR, this course was about .15 of a mile longer than the other one. So you did way good

today i found out that i PR on friday but still i can do better so im gonna still work at it. im  really happy!!!!!!! that i PR but still can do better and i know it. i want to juss keep inproving and improving.

just five today becuz the inside of my knee hurt alot! but its better now. if im in the mood i will go for a small run tonight.

i decided that it would be good to run alil bit more but not to much cuz i was feeling like im getting sick but i still went out for a 2 mile run to add to my other 5 in the morning.

Today i probably did around 6. A.M run we did 3 laps in the gully and then went back to the stadium and did 10 barefoot strides on the football field.

P.M run i did 1 mile warm up becuz i didnt want to hurt my hamstring anymore then it already is.

It is gonna suck on saterday becuz patrick is like the same fitness level as i am so he could pace me but since we arnt in the same race i dont have anybody to pace me that is around my level unless i stick up with dakota but that is gonna be hard but i will try my best, 120%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today we ran 8 , 800's it was like the worst workout ever but i did it and now i am glad i did becuz i feel great right now. i was in a group with patrick, sara, abigail and kevin we did good staying as a group and we were supposed to hit around 3.00 every 800 and it was a pretty good pace for me and i liked it, im not gonna lie before the workout today i was gonna leave and not do it but then i decided that it would help me alot so i stayed and now i am glad i did im sure it will pay off on my next race. im gonna try to keep up with patrick becuz he is about the same fitness level i am and maybe kevin but im not sure about him yet.

today i was ready to do well and i had my mind set on that. i wanted to be in the top 20. i was top 17th until the last half mile were i juss crash that is were i am really dissapointed in my self but next race will be better and i will not slow down im sure of it each race ive noticed that i have gotten better and better and now all i got to do is practice really hard and juss keep inproving.

I got a really good start and that made me happy and i was up there with the top group and was doing great at the beginnig of the race i was going to pass people one by one like bill always says and that helped me get to the front and stay there for a while. i was up there by this time i thought that i started to fast but then i was like watever lets try to keep this pace the whole race and i almost did it but wasnt able to hold it the whole race but i am very proud of myself this is one of the best races i have had yet.

i went out for a 7 mile run today i was at a really slow pace im not sure but i would say around 8 minute miles. i was really sore from yesterday. got up at 6 and went for a 7 mile run i went to liberty park and did one lap and a half cuz i think that would make me at 2 miles and its around 2 miles from my house to liberth so i did four and ran home and did another mile to get to 7.

Today was the race at sugarhouse park and i was planning to do a good job and thats exactly what happen. i beat dylan and he got around 18:50 and i beat him by about 10 seconds so i assume i got around 18:40. i got a PR in this race and it made me really happy but i dont think that it is good enough but its all good i did great and im proud!!!!

so since today i had to go get my braces tightened i couldnt go to practice. i told bill what i should do and of course it was a speed workout!!! and it wasnt that bad actually it was a big mental workout becuz this workout sounds really hard and automaticaly you dont want to do it but i got up and went to do the speed workout. it was lil bit physical and alot mentaly and i overpowered through that and i feel great but throughout the workout was feeling a bit sluggish but overall i felt great and i am ready for regions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
